Randolph made some great saves and kept us in the game but having watched the highlights again last night I can't understand why he moved his hand away from the ball at the last minute when Ibrahimovic's header came in, very strange!

Agree MartO. Lanzini looking very lightweight and struggling to get involved and keeps giving it away when he does have it.
He played through the summer in am U21 or some Copa America type cup I think and looks a shadow of last season's player.

Sort of accepted after 3 nights with the transistor radio clamped to my ear back in 1972 - the first leg wasn't on the wireless - that we would never win the league cup.
Given our desperate need to survive this year, a cup run isn't a priority.
Would sooner get dumped out of the cup than get relegated.

I can see a few changes i think he will give the squad players game time and have a bench to change it if we need to this x1 is a lot stronger than the teams Arsenal and Liverpool will be putting out just a shame we drew Man U who will play full stregth

Randolph and Adrian should swap over for league and cup subject to mistakes.
I wouldn't let Collins anywhere near the first team. We need to learn to play without Noble as he is not good enough at this level. Fernandes is a very good player and should be given every opportunity possible.
